I was
fascinated with computers since the
late 1970's |

I ran
my own BBS (that's datin' myself) |
|
|
I
started USS Starcross BBS in the
early 1990's, although there are
reports on the internet about my
BBS, claiming I actually started in
1977 |
|
|
I
co-founded Hudson Valley Net, (not
to be confused with Mid-Hudson
Valley Internet
|
|
|
|
We
used FIDO-net technology with
D'Bridge software |
|
|
I
sometimes think I have to learn
every program ever made, I'll never
live long enough for that |
|
|
My
handle was and still is Captain, am
I a geek or what
|

a Fuji S9000 |

I never did good at film photography |
|
|
I
seem to snap it all |

By
combining many of my hobbies with
photography, I capture some great
moments |

I once put the octal view lens from
the cracker jack box on the lens of
the film camera, it turned out cool

Traveling
|
|
We
have been going on some interesting
trips the past few years |
|
|
I
took my family on the National
Lampoon's Road Trip down and up the
East coast of the US |
|
|
Then
we hit the cruises on to several
other countries |
|
|
We
watched the launch to Mercury from
the coast of Cape Canaveral |
|
|
I
enjoy chaperoning student trips, so
far the best was Cape Cod
|
|
Wildlife
Adventures
|
|
Camping at our favorite place in the
Catskill Mountains,
Beaver Kill |
|
|
You
can find me and many of my family
members here during the summer
season |

Camping and boating in the middle of
Lake George |
|
|
I am
definitely a water person |
|
|
Most
of our adventures include something
to do with wildlife
|
|
Cooking
|
|
I do
love cooking |
|
|
I
learned from the best of my family |
|
|
My
favorite, but also the most
challenging is my Spanish cooking |
|
|
My
wife loves to join me when we try to
create one of my grandmother's
Spanish meals |
|
|
But I
can hold my own in most cuisines,

I
enjoy creating many of my own
recipes |

Arts
& Science
|
|
I
think I am what is called a realist
artist |
|
|
I
enjoy capturing the moment in time |
|
|
Although I am no art historian, I do
appreciate many of the art pieces
through-out Earth's history |
|
|
I
believe the artists have captured
moments in time,
visions of the future, and kept
alive our history
|
|
|
|
But
in the end, I always focus my camera
upwards into the sky |
|
|
I can
only wonder if I will still be alive
when we can freely travel through
the
stars |
|
|
If

|

I can
listen to many different styles |

favorite has to be Rhythm n Blues
and Jazz |

But I
will always stay for some good ole
rock-n-roll |

I'm
trying to learn the guitar,
Helen Avakian is my guitar
instructor |

|
My
hopes are to learn some Rhythm n
Blues and some Spanish style guitar |
|
|

This

wife and I have been working
together to create the best dream
home we can with what we have |

son is becoming a musician before

him hooked on videos and gaming |

My
daughter and I both take guitar
lessons together |

She
seems to be driven by playing
basketball |

think she will be the athlete in the
family
